Christopher Harmon went to work in the textile trade after serving with the U.S. Army during the 1990s. With more than two decades of experience in his field, Mr. Harmon is now vice president of hospitality and health care for MWW Design Studio, a textiles and home décor outfit in Spartanburg, S.C.
Mr. Harmon has extensive experience working in a number of supervisory positions throughout his career. He has also been involved with planning, quality assurance and technical management. As vice president for MWW Design Studio, Mr. Harmon interfaces with design personnel to prepare textile samples for immersion into the textiles industry.
He attributes his career success to his relationship with his father, who advocated for a strong work ethic. Mr. Harmon has also benefited from his ability to learn from the remarkable leaders he has encountered during his career. In the future he hopes to foster a sustainable business model that will generate jobs.
Mr. Harmon holds a bachelor’s degree from the Citadel in Charleston, S.C. When he’s not hard at work, he enjoys fishing and running.
